The Callie itself is a good location, great space and nice modern decor. It is in need of a little TLC in places like toilet roll holders hanging off the wall, lock on downstairs bathroom not functional, furniture chipped and shelving not level at all. It could be an amazing property with some TLC! The outdoor area (although winter) needs addressing. We had a comfortable sleep on the second night however the first night we had no functional boiler so it was exceptionally cold. Great communication from hosts however not impressed with being asked to fix the boiler myself and taking hours to get to a resolution so we didn’t have heating until near midnight when kids were desperate to sleep but too cold to do so! Ruined our first night. Heating should be on for arrival to ensure no issues. The house was stone cold.
