The room was fine very nice but we almost were not about to stay there because I checked in after driving 3 hours gave them my gift card that was on file because they gave us the gift card after the operation I was scheduled for in October was rescheduled for November 14,2025 and they didn’t credit my card but gave me the gift card so anyway I showed the desk clerk that card and my Credit Card on file needed to be charged $50 essentials fee that he said wouldn’t go through now I used my card for dinner earlier just fine so I gave him my debit card and he said it declined so he said we were not able to check in because of that, the lady next to us used her card and it worked fine and the desk clerk said she wouldn’t be charged the $50 essentials fee ? So why if everything was paid we were not going to be able to check in because of my card on file! That’s what I wasn’t happy with that we were not able to check in until the lady helped us out which I was totally embarrassed about in front of people around us! My husband was very upset how this was handled!
