"Staff was so welcoming and amazing property had amazing time"

"Our family of four, with two boys ages 13 and 11, stayed for three nights at Surpura Bagh. We absolutely loved it! The staff were wonderful and our room/villa was clean, spacious, and comfortable. We especially loved eating at the resort’s two restaurants and using the swimming pools - both the larger one by the restaurants and the smaller private one at our villa. We have no real complaints . The resort is about 11 km away from the city and main attractions, so be prepared to make arrangements to get to those places, and there are no stores or restaurants nearby that are walkable. Also accessing the WiFi was somewhat inconvenient and internet connection was spotty at times - but this felt like a minor thing and overall this was a great place for us to stay. We’d come back anytime we could manage and fully recommend it for others! "

"This place is really special, and 1 night is definitely not long enough. We arrived late in the afternoon to a warm welcome and a refreshing drink on the deck - the views are breathtaking. The lodges are so pretty, embroidered with the birds found on the reservoir with sequins and a skylight to the stars. Even the bath boasts the same mesmerising views. We went for a walk for sundowners with a guide, learning about the wildlife & conservation, and were rewarded with a stunning sunset. The food at RAAS was the best we had in India, as was the service. Attentive yet laidback, the team are all really kind and add to the ambience. I set my alarm for sunrise and was not disappointed, enjoying a coffee as the sky turned pink. A beautiful oasis after the excitement of the cities. "Location is the main problem. It is too far away from everything and no nice restaurants close by. The food is so-so in the hotel restaurant and way too expensive for the quality. "
