Spacious family friendly cedar log cabin, located in a private and peaceful mountainside setting near Sunday River. Plenty of room to relax and enjoys the delights of the Sunday River and Bethel area.
Indoors:
Top Floor: Spacious master bedroom with king size bed, smart TV, walk in closet, deluxe en suite full bathroom with twin vanities. The landing area has a designated remote work space and sofa.
First Floor: Comfortable couches, a recliner, and cozy blankets to relax by the fire, plenty of seating for mealtimes, modern, well equipped kitchen with new appliances. These include Ninja coffee system, Keurig, griddle, crockpot, blender, new LG oven and refrigerator with ice maker.
Two spacious bedrooms with queen beds, closets, smartTVs, and a full bathroom. Outside is a wraparound deck with Adirondack chairs to relax in and take in the breathtaking mountain views.
Ground Floor: Bedroom with two sets of bunk beds and a closet, full bathroom, laundry closet with washer & dryer, huge entertainment room with bar seating and couches. Games include shuffleboard, board games, large TV with X-Box, and a corn hole set to use outdoors.
Outdoors:
6 person hot tub and large patio area with ample seating, and a fire table to sit around on cooler evenings. Nearby is the Breeo fire pit and Adirondack chairs where you can relax and cook s’mores. The home is located in a secluded, peaceful wooded setting with picturesque Mountain View’s, especially at sunrise and sunset. This home has a heated garage and is equipped with a back up generator should the area lose power in a storm.

Perfect family getaway!
We spent a considerable amount of time searching through listings to find the perfect location for a family vacation, and Nikki and John's luxury cabin did not disappoint! This home has a number of wonderful amenities, including a hot tub, outdoor fire pit, gas fire table, gas fireplace, large screen televisions on multiple floors, games, and even a shuffle board table! The home was spotless, the kitchen was extremely well appointed, the beds were comfortable, there was plenty of hot water, and the on-site washer and dryer was super convenient.The best part of all was that there was plenty of space for us (6 adults) to gather COMFORTABLY. We definitely spent the most time we ever have at this rental, which is on a quiet street on a hill with beautiful fall foliage and mountain views! The location is perfect. We enjoyed great hiking trails just down the road, went apple picking, visited several breweries, rented ATV's for offroad riding in the mountains, and the food was amazing everywhere we went! The host was super responsive and helpful and truly seemed invested in making sure we had a memorable family vacation which we appreciated. We definitely recommend this beautiful cabin in the woods!

A beautiful secluded spot.
The property was very clean, spacious and had everything needed for a great vacation. The hot tub, shuffleboard and corn hole provided were enjoyed by all. There were 9 of us from ages 12 to 56 and there was plenty of space. Everyone agreed that we want to vacation here again. Nikki is an excellent host. She is very nice and helpful.

Family getaway
Exactly what we were looking for to spend time away with our adult kids. The location is remote, yet close to great hiking and the town of Bethel. The cabin is more than big enough for 8 to 10 adults comfortably and has all you need. We cooked most nights on the grill and sat around the fire pit making smores. We highly recommend Nikki and John’s place for your family getaway! You won’t be disappointed.

The Property is beautiful, well taken care of and super clean. They had great communication responding most of the time before i even closed the app both before and during our stay. Labor Day weekend getaway
Our family came up to stay in this beautiful home and enjoyed ourselves tremendously. It was very clean, well appointed, everything you would ever need. We hiked during the day, made dinner for the entire crew, then played games at night. It was perfect. The road going up to it was washed out but the owners clearly stated that all wheel drive was a better option and we still made it with our front wheel drive car. We would definitely go back.

Peaceful and relaxing cabin.
This beautiful home was extremely clean and comfortable. There was nothing lacking during our stay at the cabin. The bedrooms were very comfortable and spacious. There was plenty of room for everyone. The basement playroom was great for the whole family. The hot tub was relaxing as well as the fire pit! The pictures really do represent this beautiful mountain top cabin. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others!!! Extremely happy with everything:)

Our family of 10 had the best time during our week-long stay! The property was stunning, super clean and provided ample room for 9 adults and 1 child. Probably my favorite VRBO stay! Gorgeous home and white glove clean when we arrived. There were 6 of us staying here and we had more than enough room, and we had our own bathrooms which was a must. Kitchen was well stocked with more plates, glasses and utensils then you will need! Loved the wrap around deck, Mountain Views, jacuzzi and fire pit. If it wasn’t for wanting to see the beautiful state of Maine; we would never have left the house! Nikki was great in communicating with any questions we had. I would certainly recommend this property as you will not be disappointed!

Christmas getaway
Myself, my 4 children & their spouses spent the weekend at Nikki & John’s. The home was perfect for our “Christmas “ weekend- each couple had their own bedroom, the common areas were roomy enough for all of us to eat, play games & hang out together. Nice bonus to have the hot tub to relax in after a day of skiing & snowmobiling. The entire group gives the house and the weekend 2 thumbs up!!

Lovely house near Sunday River
We had a great time here. The house was perfect for our family and would have comfortably fit more. It was great to relax by the fire after a day of skiing and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare the meals we planned. The hosts were extremely responsive and thoughtful.

Beautiful house in the mountans! Easy trip to Sunday River-
The home was beautiful with fantastic views of the mountains. It had just snowed when we arrived so getting up to the house & into the driveway was a little tricky. Definitely need a 4-wheel drive vehicle if planning a stay during the winter. Otherwise, the house had everything we needed for a great weekend!

Perfect spot for Sunday River fun
The house and property are amazing. The kitchen and open living room worked out great for my family. We loved the game room downstairs. The master bedroom and bathroom was perfect. The other bedrooms worked out well for my adult kids. Hot tub is a plus after a long day enjoying the slopes of sunday river. 10 out of 10 for sure.

Beautiful!
We rented Nikki and John’s place for our fall trip. Finding the house was easy even though it’s in the thick of trees. The house itself is very spacious and clean. Nikki and John were so prompt on messages. We used the fire pit for which there was enough wood on the property itself. The hot tub was amazing . My only problem was that we didn’t stay here longer! I am keen on returning to Nikki and John’s place for my next trip up north.
