We couldn't sleep during our stay. The noises around 9.30pm till 11.30pm. The nice about the hotel view and garden are beautiful. The hotel need renovations.
I enjoyed my time at this hotel. They provide free water daily which is nice. The bathroom includes a western style toilet, which is good for me. Hot water isn't available 24 hours a day, so make sure you note the times it's available if you want to enjoy a hot shower. My main concern was that my sheets weren't changed unless I requested it. I had to place my sheets in the hotel provided laundry bag before I received new sheets. The on site restaurant had fantastic food and decently priced as well. The room had an american style plug in the bathroom and european style plugs in the bedroom. I brought my own adaptor, but they have some available on request.
Overall, this was a good stay and I would definitely book again.
good scenery hotel for 1 or 2 days but not for long stay. No lift provided, so it is not practical for having heavy luggage or many luggage, old person, disable person.

Hotel view is great. Facilities are also good. Staffs are nice except for counter staff a bit cocky. This hotel is good especially for people who want privacy because it is away from the main street of Brestagi.
From the time we checked in until our departure, the staff was uniformly friendly, accommodating, and extremely helpful. The hotel is in excellent condition, the room generous, and the breakfast a feast. The only negative is that the WiFi did not serve the room, and we needed to go into the hallway or lobby for service. Other than that, the hotel can be recommended without reservations.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, room comfort
Pleasant hotel.
Friendly and helpful staff. Not all spoke English but then I don’t speak Indonesian yet we still understood each other. No hot water at certain times and when it did, not a lot of pressure, and no internet in rooms, only in public areas. Meal portions were a bit small. Room service was quick. Could do with a folder in the rooms outlining what’s on offer and what to see and costs. Pretty good value though as it didn’t cost the earth.
Room grooming need improvement and price need adjustment for better values for the guest to stay, need some renovation for old rooms. For a better stay.
Spacious Room, Wonderful Scenery & Great Breakfast
We enjoyed our stay at Sinabung Hills Berastagi. The room that I booked is so spacious (Superior Room). It could fit another 1-2 guest & you can request for the extra bed with reasonable price (it comes along with the breakfast buffet). There's no elevator here but it's not a problem to me (I believe it is due to its location that isn't far from volcanic Sinabung mountain). There's a wide selection of breakfast buffet, suits my taste. The hotel overall ambiance is great and the views are breathtaking. We even get the chance to watch the eruption of Mount Sinabung - It's an amazing sight & opportunity for me. Due to that, some area of the hotel especially the garden is covered with ashes (the hotel staffs work really hard to keep the place as clean as possible, we saw them cleaning & sweeping). Oddly, me & my family enjoyed experiencing this (however stay indoor during the eruption to prevent yourself getting caught with the ashes or dust. Keep your window closed to prevent the dust from getting inside your room). The room service is great, I ordered a meal at night. We'll definitely stay here if we come here again.
It was a good stay for the price we paid. Thought it will be good if the staff could at least bring some assurance to hotel guests when.slight earthquake happened.
We enjoyed our stay at Sinabung Hills Berastagi,a well maintained resort with wonderful landscape and garden.Suitable for family with kids as there is a huge garden for them to play around.Nice swimming pool available but often the weather is too cold for us to swim.Hotel management told us that hot water bath supply only available from 5pm to 10pm,however upon my family request they are willing to help and open the hot water supple for us.Big room.Just the water stream for bathe was too weak.Restaurant provide nice local/chinese cooking but the western food was disappointing.
It was a one-night stay and the only disappointment is the lack of wifi. While the room is big and airy, the toilet definitely needs some upgrading. The hotel overall ambience is great and the views stunning. Will definitely return to stay if the opportunity arises.
Cozy, Clean, Hospitable - Suitable for Family Trip
We planned the trip in early December 2015; checked in few nights before New Year's Eve. The Cleaning officer was helpful by lending his lighter before we started the little fireworks play. And While we had idr100k bank notes, the Receptionist immediately assisted to exchange smaller banknotes to pay-out the local 'horse-riding' service for the children.
Overall, it was a splendid hotel with Great Mountain view, soothing ambience, with reasonable fare
It will be great to re-visit Sinabung Hills again on our next visit
