Our first time at a bed and breakfast and it was so fun! The rooms are adorable and the house is so historical. The owner is beyond nice and it’s a great place for a quiet stay!
We stayed at the Monroe Manor Inn bed & breakfast, specifically because it was a B&B. The room was great, the house was beautiful, and our host was awesome!! Can’t wait to go back!!
We really enjoyed our stay at this B&B. The host was very welcoming and the breakfast was great. The location was very convenient since it is only a short drive from downtown South Haven.
The proprietor is genuinely welcoming and helpful. The bedroom and bathroom were pleasant and spotless. This is a nicely furnished 19th-century home that has been renovated and refreshed. Breakfast was a treat. Minor negatives: the spacious covered porch is nice but a little noisy (even though it is completely hidden from the highway behind a stand of trees), and the climate control is central, so not adjustable in the room. But we were comfortable and happy with our stay.
A lovely old home with modern quality amenities.
Proprietor outstanding as far as friendliness and attention
Rooms quiet and bathroom excellent
Breakfast quite good
Sitting porch very inviting
Outstanding bed and breakfast
Beautiful historic home. Friendly host, delicious breakfast, comfortable room. Short drive to restaurants and beach. We will definitely stay there next time we are in South Haven!
Our recent stay was nothing short of exceptional, from the moment we checked in to the moment of check out. The atmosphere exuded a sense of historical elegance and refinement. The facilities were immaculately maintained; each detail was taken care of in the most hospitable way. Our host was very nice and welcoming, extending a genuinely warm welcome and ensuring that our every need was catered to. His classy demeanor and genuine kindness added an extra layer of charm to our experience. The breakfast was a culinary delight, prepared with skill and nutritious balance, and served with a touch of flair. We left feeling rejuvenated and thoroughly pampered, already dreaming of our next visit. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a truly memorable getaway.
Beautiful historic property, convenient to all South Haven attractions. Host was friendly and welcoming. Would highly recommend and definitely stay again.
I never leave reviews, but Monroe Manor was just a great and cozy stay. The owner is so accommodating and makes you feel so comfortable. Cozy and away from the main hustle of South Haven
Rashid was a wonderful host. He even accommodated my special food requests. Unfortunately, it was uncomfortably warm at night (over 70). I was given a fan, and told the temp would be lowered to 69 but it was still pretty muggy/warm for sleeping temps IMHO.
