Short’s Brewery and adorable downtown Bellaire is a 5 minute walk away. A 10 minute drive to Torch Lake and a 6 mile drive to Shanty Creek Resort.

River Beach Cottage is a 3 bedroom 1 bath home with 2 bedrooms upstairs and 1 bedroom and the bathroom on the main level. The Cottage is centrally located near Northern Michigan’s most desirable lakes like Torch Lake, Intermediate Lake and Lake Bellaire, just to name a few. The Cottage is kid-friendly, includes plastic tableware for children and comes equipped with books and board games to keep all ages entertained. Bring your appetite for s’mores and enjoy a family bon-fire around the fire pit. River Beach Cottage is great for all-season activities. In the summer, walk across the street to the public beach or put in the kayaks that are included with the rental, take a drive over to Shanty Creek for a round of golf and stop at Dockside on Torch Lake for dinner. In the fall, come visit for a color tour, stop in for a movie at the old-time theater and curl up on the couch with a glass of wine or some hot chocolate. In the winter, take your skis or snowboard over to Shanty Creek, drive over to Pearls Cajun Restaurant, walk over to the park across the street for ice skating and enjoy Bellaire’s festive downtown area. Don’t forget- any season is a good season to walk down to Short’s Brewery!
