About this property
Entire place
You'll have the entire home to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party.
Cliffside Cabin Experience
We can’t wait for you to experience this slice of paradise, friends!
The Dappled Light Adventures cabin is located on 50 privately owned acres of Daniel Boone National Forest; you'll have full access to hike and explore. Plus it’s less than 20 minutes away from tons of fun activities (hiking, climbing, etc.)!
We're proud to offer you a luxuriously comfy space to unplug, reconnect with the natural world, and recharge.
*By booking you agree to the Liability Waiver in "House Rules"*
The space
Our cabin was handmade by a local builder from rough-hewn oak and pine. The inside is warm, inviting, and breathable, with a view that's impossible to beat.
The back wall of the cabin is made mostly of windows that allow you to look down a few hundred feet into another portion of Daniel Boone National Forest.
There's a queen-sized bed and twin bed located in the loft for you to use, as well as a couch that folds down into a full-size bed, a kitchen, and a bathroom for your convenience!
You’ll have a beautiful living area with space to sip your coffee or eat a meal as you watch the sun slowly rise and fall over the valley. Our favorite time of day is when the nighttime mist dissolves as the sun comes up.
In the evening, after you've spent the day exploring the National Forest, go down near the cliff edge and enjoy a small campfire while you watch the sunset.
It doesn't get better than this...
-----
- While this cabin is now "On-Grid" for the first time in 17 years, we don't have a fridge or shower on site yet. We do have a toilet, kitchen sink, and electricity! It operated as an off-grid stay for a long time, so we're hopeful you'll still be unbelievably cozy and comfortable!
- Our 50 acres have a few short-term rentals on-site, so the space is technically shared, however, the cabin is fully secluded from any communal areas (main camp, hiking trails, driveway)
- By booking with us, you agree to the liability waiver located in the house rules. If you do not wish to agree to this, contact us and you will be refunded in full!
Guest access
Access to all 50 privately owned acres.
Other Dappled Light guests will also have access. A hiking map is provided, along with signage on the property for hiking.
Other things to note
Please treat this space as you would your own home. We don't live on-site, but if any issues arise, please reach out and we'll help ASAP!
