Always love staying at the Cooke Hotel and Conference Center when we visit our daughter at LSU. Love shopping in the hotel store as well. Breakfast was good but the tables and floor area in the dining area were sticky. Also wish the hotel served coffee throughout the day. We arrived in the late afternoon (so tired), and wished some coffee was available.

Went to visit our kid at LSU, it was so close to her dorm we could walk back and forth. Staff was very nice and super helpful. Breakfast is alright. Overall a great place when visiting your college kid.

No dining options near by unless if you have a car. Property is very pretty and safe. Breakfast could be improved. Had to change rooms at night because of running water was extremely hot. Staff was polite but not very accommodating and told me I had booked through Expedia so they couldn’t give me a better room but after my complains they gave me a similar room.
