I am sorry to say this stay was less than ideal. The room smelled of old smoke every time the door was opened. There are small holes in the bathroom door on both sides as if something was missing. The brick wall looked as if it should be an external siding. The rough texture diminished the already lack of coziness. There was no shower curtain in the bathroom upon arrival. The room had only hooks to hang our garments instead of a closet. On the last morning, I noticed bugs in the sink. Requests for additional towels were delayed by more than 30 minutes. On our last morning, I went to the office to get coffee and request towels. Again after 30 minutes of waiting I had to call the front desk again. After requesting them the second time, the person I originally asked brought them down. On our first morning housekeeping knocked on our door once around 9 am and when no one answered immediately they opened the door to let themselves in.
I was rather disappointed in this stay. I had chosen Days Inn over the Super 8 motel because I expected a much better experience. Unfortunately, I will not return to this location nor will I recommend this establishment to family and friends unless it's an emergency.
