Adorable cottage
This small cottage was perfect for my stay in Bastrop. As a single traveler, I felt perfectly safe staying here by myself. It was historic and quaint but very well maintained and clean. I am in Bastrop monthly and will return here.

Nice place for a small group - great location
Has everything you need - including chickens out back with eggs if you so desire. Close enough to walk downtown for dining / nightlife.

Nice cottage!
Was overall a nice place to stay. It is retro-furnished but nice. Clean… the only real issue was that the cottage is cooled by one small window air conditioner unit. And there were no extra fans in the unit. The one ceiling fan only ran on slow speed. We went and bought a floor fan and that helped. So if the owner/manager put one or two fans in the cottage to circulate the air throughout, that would help greatly. The cottage is in a historic area, we loved that. The size was perfect for two people or maybe a couple and one child. We would recommend. Just be aware to bring a fan.

We love the location. Walking distance to downtown and the river. The beds are not great, but the location *mostly* makes up for that.

Anniversary trip
My husband and I used to rent a cabin right next door to Neighbor’s before they were there. The Yerba cabin is a perfect substitute! Location is great. Half a mile from everything.

Great location, tiny house
It's a great location. I cannot say enough how fabulous it was to just walk a few blocks and be at every restaurant/bar/event that we wanted downtown. The full bed was very squeaky and uncomfortable so we chose to sleep on the twin the second night, which was very comfy but a little difficult for two. :) It's an older, tiny home with a beautiful setting and a porch that is a dream. I even had a neighborhood kitty come and hang out with me as I had my morning coffee. As long as you're comfortable being cozy it's just fine!

Cute Cottage in great location
Loved this little cottage! Had full kitchen with everything we needed. Just blocks away from downtown. Everything is within walking distance. Got to meet the owners who were staying in the big house on the property. Wonderful people! Also, met Betty the chicken and the neighborhood cat, both very friendly. We will definitely be back!

We enjoyed our stay in this historic and rustic cottage. It's in a great neighborhood and only a 5-10min walk to main street Bastrop with restaurants and shops.

Overpriced
The property's air conditioner only cooled 1/2 of the area. We felt that the cost for the property was far above what it was worth. The bed was less than comfortable. There was no TV, which was something that should have be disclosed in the listing. There was also no comfortable seating arrangement. The chairs were garbage. The location was the best aspect of this property because it was within walking distance of downtown Bastrop. We felt that there were several attributes about the property that should have been listed on the website that weren't.

Great little cottage.
Great little cottage close to the historic district. We enjoyed unplugging with no TV available. The listing says that the amenities include a hair dryer. We suggest you bring your own. Here is some information that we were not aware of: The cottage is on well water that is not recommended for drinking. A note in the bathroom stated that there was plenty of bottled water available in the cottage. We never found that water. Thank goodness that we had packed our own. The cottage is surrounded with lush greenery and flowers. The area is quiet and serene. I would recommend this property to any couple wanting to get away for a quiet retreat!

Great location with a small town feel.
Loved the historic feel of the small house, with all the convenience of a home. We walked to historic downtown for dinner at night and then found an egg from the chickens in the backyard next morning to share for breakfast! Great location near two state parks for hiking. We’ll be back!
