This was a return visit. We received a warm welcome and the staff were always polite and helpful. A plate of petit fours awaited us in our room. The room was large and although storage for our belongings was tight we managed well. Its accessibility to the station was a boon as we used the train and the Swiss Travel Pass every day. The only negative was the housekeeping. Only on one occasion was the room well cleaned. We were there for two weeks but our beds were not changed. In contrast there were always clean towels when we asked for them. Despite this one niggle, we would return if staying in Basel. It is very good value for money.

The continental breakfast buffet was excellent! Unlimited cappuccinos (or any other coffee you would like), meuselli with fresh berries, lovely fresh bread, eggs, bacon, cold cuts, cheeses, fresh fruit - everything you could desire.

Hard to find but good place and great location.
The hotel was very hard to find. It is one of maybe three different lodging hotel brands that belong to the same company and so they share the same doors, somewhat. No elevator. My elderly mother missed a step and fell almost hitting her head on some kind of dresser at the front entrance, but thankfully she just missed it. Other than that, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was what you would expect on average and was comfortable. Location was great being right next to Basel SBB.

The property was perfectly located for my needs after arriving via train from Germany. It was also very clean, however the room was incredibly stuffy and hot. There was no ability to change or modify the temperature in the room and We could not open the windows so it was pretty uncomfortable even though it wasn’t a particularly hot day. I might opt for an alternative hotel in the summer.

One night stop. There was no air conditioning, no fan, the windows being open wasn’t an option bc of the street noise and light. It was so hot and uncomfortable in our room we hardly slept. However if you were to go in the winter it would be a nice hotel. The location is very close to the train station. It was clean.

Hotel is well located, next to the train station and close to main attractions. Rooms are ok but service was a bit deceptive. We weren’t able to get an early check-in and ended up with 1 large bed instead of 3 as we had requested. This hotel is not ideal for family.
