We returned to Mate Pau as we stayed there last year & it suited our requirements for convenience of position and reasonable pricing. Rooms are nothing special but comfortable and suitable for 1 or 2 nights. No longer. Nice reception staff.

Room Mate Pau was really nice place to stay . It's very clean and stuff sre very nice. The property itself its located at center of major attraction we main walk 10-15 min to see different places. Overall it is wonderful place

The management & staff were excellent & could put a 5* hotel to shame from our experience. Breakfast was fantastic, so much on offer, all very fresh, tables, chairs & placemats were cleaned after every person which we felt was so nice. The breakfast staff were very attentive to any & every need, couldn't wish for a better team. We highly recommend staying here & would come back if returning to Barcelona.

The executive room is beautiful. The other rooms are very small. Elevator is pitch black almost when you enter it. I saw a customer smack right into a glass door in the front and the front desk didn’t even apologize. It was quite strange. The staff is not great, a new trainee that works there decided to involve herself in something she had no business being in. It was just uncomfortable experience overall.

Great little hotel. Front desk was super nice and checked us into our room early so we could rest. The rooms were clean, quiet and had everything that was needed. The bed was comfortable. The location was perfect, walking distance to a lot of places. The breakfast was awesome. Lots of good fresh items.

Love how central this hotel is. It’s on a Main Street but tucked in so almost didn’t find it. Staff is friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.
