There were a lot of people coming in between two and three in the morning, and they were quite loud even after they got to their rooms.

Everything about my stay was incredible. As a solo traveler you can feel intimidated by hotel staff who can be a bit rude. But not at Axel, the Staff made me feel like I was a friend who was coming to stay again (even though it was my first time)

Amazing location and friendly staff. Felt very safe coming back to the hotel late at night after drinking. So many bars close by and awesome rooftop for nights you want to just stay close. Definitely will try and stay at more Axel hotels around the world

Very nice lobby and bar, friendly staff. Great location. But the rooms are terrible - badly laid out, shabby, and in desperate need of refurbishment. I stayed in both standard and premium rooms - both were of a poor standard.

This was the greatest hotel. They were so nice at check-in always remembered me by name and my room number, offered to store my extra luggage. I wouldn’t have to take it to my room and they were incredible every step of the way.

Relocate coffee pot next to an electrical outlet. No place to open a suitcase other than on the floor No countertop in bathroom for toiletries Unable to fill the sink with water for shaving As a designer I notice these things. Front desk and cleaning staff were amazing!

The staff was friendly and accommodating. It isn’t mentioned anywhere that this is a heterosexual friendly hotel. That should be mentioned in addition to the adults only aspect. They have a drag show and drag pool party, which were great. Breakfast is okay, but can’t complain for $13 euro. It’s clean and in a great area for tourism.
