Excellent place to stay. Clean facilities . Staff are hardworking , friendly and very accomodating. Big shout to Elizabeth at the front desk , got us checked in early which made us enjoy the beach with in half an hour of arrival. By the way, beach is few steps away. I very much enjoyed my stay at Bougainvillea. Very friendly staff and great service in a convenient location. The spacious room offered separate bed and living room with a kitchenette and a balcony with view to the ocean. Good service at the beach with multiple water sport options. After a week of stay I feel wonderfully relaxed and will certainly consider to come back.

Facility/room in excellent condition, esthetically pleasing, furniture in excellent condition. Room service reliable and cleaned nicely. Staff (in all encounters, and thank you ladies/gent at front desk for your kindness and accommodating us) very respectful, responsive, and welcoming. Having visited Barbados over a dozen times over the years, staying at some facilities I considered average to excellent, this is my new favorite. Every room appears to offer a pool/and or ocean view. The drinks at the pool were refreshing and the dinners at their restaurant were delicious—the catch of the day tastefully seasoned and the white sweet potatoes simply scrumptious. The kitchenette came in handy as we cooked fresh fish from Oisten’s fish market and bought wine from Massy’s grocery store, which is easily to get to by local bus/van. My only recommendation would be to have paper towels or napkins in the room and kitchen garbage bags in the kitchenette.

I had an amazing stay! The staff were all very nice and helpful. There was a little work being done on the resort but it wasn't intrusive. My room and view were gorgeous and the facilities and beach will be hard to beat.

Lovely hotel for when you just want to relax. The only thing is that they didn’t have any amenities like tea and coffee which is unusual for a hotel. But other than that absolutely beautiful. The rooms are spacious, the staff are great and the beach is lovely. The complimentary watersports desk was great too. Would definitely stay again. Liked it so much extended our check out

Great place to stay in Barbados! The hotel was clean, staff friendly, and the drinks and food was great. One thing it could use is a quick service coffee shop for a pastry or cup of coffee. Otherwise, a great resort!

The positives: twenty minutes walk to Oistins, cozy beach, spacious room. Negatives: abysmal customer service, unclean/unmaintained pool (same bugs, trash and leaves were in there for three days and the water was cloudy), beach full of seaweed, few umbrellas for shade. They even ran out of towels at the beach one day. Staff had terrible attitudes across the board (hated or even lied about confirming details that hadn’t been confirmed), and acted as if every request were a great inconvenience. At this price point, cleanliness and service should be impeccable. We expected better and we’re terribly disappointed. I leave this review having stayed at over 200 hotels in 70 countries.
