Staff aren’t very helpful, pool had way too much chemical in it (green and cloudy and WARM), our room had so many ants in it, bad location (cost us a lot of $$ if we wanted to go anywhere) they say at the front desk there is a shuttle for guests checking out but it costs 500 pesos. Food and drink is overpriced and extremely greasy, we couldn’t even eat our omelettes they were so drenched in butter. Would not recommend staying here.
Resort is too far.. We walked like 50 meters just to get to the room. Room smells like dead rat. My asthma got triggered after they sprayed some air freshener or disinfectant to get rid of the foul smell. Only stayed less than 5 minutes in the room and cancelled reservation. To our dismay, the hotel did not cancelled our reservation and still charged. This reservation ruined our vacation. Stay away
We booked this as a family treat . Ha Ha. Three rooms ... The facilities were exaggerated & totally underwhelming. The Pool had mirky water & looked very univiting . No beach .On entering the resort there was suppose to be a zoo which surmised of animals kept in poor conditions. Two horses in small muddy pens with the saddest faces was heart breaking to say the least . They were taking there sadness out on each other which was very hard to witness. I could go on . Terrible food & service. Breakfast was inedible. Dinner was full of MSG and expensive. They poor staff had not been trained at all , they did not even know prices of drinks so overcharged to cover them selfs. Room was very basic but seemed ok in a backpacker way until our ill fitting sheet came off during the night to reveal the dirtiest matterest. Quite revolving. Awful experience... could not wait to leave.
The Good, the staff was friendly and occommodating.
The Bad, just about everything else.
The resort is rundown and unappealing. We booked the Bungalow for three nights. There was no furniture in the sitting room, just a TV stand with no TV and a stand with a mirror. There was an old love seat on the porch that we dragged into the room. There was also a 1.5 cubic foot fridge sitting on the floor in a corner. Coffee cups and a kettle but no coffee supplies. No face cloths or hand towels. Queen size bed listed on the web site bur it was a double bed with a terrible mattress. Ants in the bathroom. Air conditioner in the bedroom was not working. They did fix it when we complained. Wifi was only available in the bar. When we asked about room service the owner said we had to request it. When we did the girl swept the sitting room floor, emptied the garbage and left a roll of toilet tissue which we had requested. The bed was not made and the bathroom was not cleaned. The food in the restaurant was decent but nothing special. The grounds are cluttered and messy and not at all appealing. The road into the resort is in terrible shape and needs to be upgraded. There are much better hotels available on the island. I would not recommend this hotel. Poor value fot the money.
it was not a good experience. The place is too far and no closer shops. You have to pay huge amount of money to get away from the place. My room was not cleaned in my 4 days stay in the hotel. never again
Excellent relaxing resort with a 25 m pool and beautiful natural scenery. Dining right on the edge of the sea. Staff was amazing especially Hazel at reception who really went out of her way to help us out!!! The only drawback is that it is quite far from everywhere (1/2 hr tricycle ride from Santa fe and the ferry so you really are limited to the resort restaurant. Recommend you rent scooters in town to give you more freedom. You'll want them to explore the island anyway and you can get a good deal on ling term rentals in Santa Fe.
We had a lovely stay but there were a few disadvantages. The place is too far from the main city, very hard to find. There was no proper signage of the place. But the place itself was nice and clean - it’s very nature-sy. Its good for relaxation and getting away from the city hustle. The place has a great pool and service crew were amazing. Our room was clean but the shower didn’t have a proper water flow, and there was no hot water.
I booked here for 3 days . I have to leave after the 2nd night. Hope Expedia can give a refund . This facility was way far from the pier. Our tricycle ride to the facility was the worse I ever had . There is no TV in the rooom . And in order to get something to eat , we have to go the restaurant and order . They definitely don't have room service . I felt like I was in a secluded place in a jungle. I had the most terrible experience.
Whatever pictures in the website is not real the chairs in the balcony does not exist in the reality not even a single table inside the room to put the bags. No tv no refrigerator, they did transfer us to other room & provide us with the refrigerator after a i send a long message to the reservation officer which she responded right away. Staffs otherwise are very accomodating and and the view in the day time is good.

Good for a quiet, private night away from the town
Good place to visit if you are visiting Bantayan Island and would like to get away for a night from the nominally busy downtown area. Good service, the staff training is great here. Great place for kids and families also. Quiet and laid back atmosphere with a phenomenal pool and cave.
Be aware that this resort is far from the town. I would highly suggest renting a motorbike from town before coming. This should cost around $6 USD per day. Just be aware the roads going to this resort are not all paved so you should be expecting a very bumpy ride. You can also avail of their van service from the port.
There is no beach here or really within walking distance. Which is another good reason to rent a motorbike- a visit to Madridejos/Lawis/Kota Park is a good part-day excursion from this resort. There is a decent beach there, very good local food, and also the historical Kota (Fort), which was used during the wars of old.
The rooms at this resort are average for the price but I wouldn't give them any exceptional remarks. The balcony overlooking the sea was nice. Room service is available also, just ask for the # to text and grab/ take a picture of menu at the restaurant. One note is that we booked the Deluxe, and the room is 20sqm on Hotels.com but in reality the room was about half that size. Recommend to stay in the Superior or higher if you are already going to spend the base price.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay there and will definitely return given the chance.

Nice stay for a day
Nice hotel location bit far better get a motorbike to get there. Location is far from white sand beach bad strand impossible to swim but hood big pool
Accueil chaleureux cottage fans un grand jardin tropical. Piscine a débordement très grande. Le logement est correct. Me lit confortable. La vue est belle du restaurant sur l ile virgin. L ets est au calme. En louant une moto on est parti visiter l île.
slecht. zo'n acc. hoort niet bij een hotel.com org
In de middle off noware. Erg duur in restaurant . Veel ongedierte in kamer en buiten Zwembad had 3 ligstoelen waarvan er 2 stuk en niet te gebruik en waren. Geboekte kamer had geen tv en geen patio of terras. Hebben na reclamatie andere kamer gekregen.
This resort is too far from the Santa Fe port.
But very quiet and isolated from the noise.
The Wife was not avilable in the room, just possible to use in restaurant. They have clean pool in the cave as well as big pool outside, but no sand beach. If there is a asking to carry to the beach, they supply a car picking up to the beach 5 minute far from the resort with free. They also supply pick up service from, to the Santa Fe port.
