6 different keys, non worked after first go. Room dark & shabby. Only 2 rings worked on cooker. After walking through the warren of corridors & outside to Reception several times with heavy bags, including having to be let into my room in the first place by housekeeping. No compensation!

Really quite run down place. Even though the place was clean, it kinda felt like it was falling apart. The carpet was without stains, but felt like it had seen better days and I wonder how hygienic it was considering I’m not sure it’s been changed since like the 50’s. Nice, friendly staff and well-maintained property grounds. Safe, covered parking was nice - especially if staying here in winter. Overall felt like a dinky $85 motel, but it was double the price (and we’d booked far in advance). I’m happy we only had one night booked here. For the price, not worth it.

Well, when the hotel staff is rude, it really sours the visit. The hotel is older, maybe late 80s/early 90s and has some renovations going on. So the space is acceptable - noting fancy - but fits the price tag. However, the front desk staff was horrible and it started before we even arrived when I called to make an adjustment to my reservation. With the exception of the male worker who also speaker French, the female front desk workers we interacted with were atrocious. If you don't like helping people - you shouldn't be in hospitality. A sour visit for sure.

Very quiet rural location
A good base for touring Banff and area. Free bus service into Banff. Very quiet and restful surroundings. Not a lot around for food so you would either need to cook for yourselves or eat out in town.

This is a beat up old ski area chalet kind of place that really just needs to be torn down and rebuilt. All of the furniture should be on the street with “free” signs on them. Big chunks of cement broken and fallen off some stairways. Not worth the price but Banff is a busy place so competition is high. I’d check out other places first.

The location was nice. Fairly close to downtown Banff and we were given free bus passes. We were able to see the Northern Lights from our balcony one night which was just spectacular. Our unit was spacious with a downstairs bedroom, full bath, kitchenette, and living room. Also a loft with 2 beds and half bath. The sofa was saggy and extremely uncomfortable. Basically unusable- my biggest complaint. Otherwise, we had a wonderful visit to Banff and enjoyed ourselves immensely.

If you don't mind there is no heating in your room, so go ahead. When we found the heating didn't work, we went to the front desk and asked them to check it. But it's still the same after we came back.

Rooms were so dirty and for the price charged would expect a room with clean bed and furniture. Sofa and Chairs looked as if they haven't been cleaned for decades with thick layer of dust on them. Would never recommend this to anyone. Worst place to stay in banff

Very well thought through kitchen with all the necessities, lots of space, wood burning fireplace with everything necessary to start it added a cabin feel. It was nice to have a balcony to have a breakfast with mountains in the backdrop. Assigned parking was an added bonus. Will definitely stay again.
