Fabulous Urban Hotel
We were delighted with our stay at Pier 5 Hotel. It is beautifully designed and appointed. The staff was very friendly and it was so convenient to the Inner Harbor. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it.

The room was wonderful. The hotel was wonderful. They have a delicious breakfast. It was nice. They did happy hours and other events for guests, but the staff at the desk were absolutely fabulous. They were the ones I interacted with most and they were so nice so accommodating, so professional, and above all so friendly Thank you all so much.

I wanted to give the hotel 4 or 5 stars but cannot due to the bedding. Bedding is very important to me… and cleanliness of the bed and pillows. The pillows don’t have protectors, only a thin pillow case and the pillows need to be thrown away- they were stained and smelled bad. The sheet for the king bed was very small, did not fully cover the mattress and I was afraid it would pop off - under the sheet was quite a bit of hair on a mattress pad. The location was great, the staff were very helpful and friendly, and the breakfast was better than average. But due to the bedding issue, I wouldnt stay there again

It was ok , an older property in need of some tlc . Room had broken light , bathroom door handle fell off , huge shallow sink doesn’t rinse kind of gross, rusty fixture in tub , carpets dirty , broken fixture on shower hand bar, ripped shower curtain . Happy hr has kind of gross , super cheap sutter home wine and soggy fried food but was complimentary. Charged me for parking when I paid for parking and don’t explain at all how I was suppose to pay for the parking even after asking twice . Asked to fill hand sanitizer at elevator 3 times , never filled . Feel Like they are going out of business .

I came for a convention in town (as many people who come to Baltimore do lol) and chose this spot to get away from it all. It’s close to the aquarium and a few other attractions. The closed-but-open-air layout inside — the floors are levels that circle the perimeter of the interior common area and reception center in the middle — is really cool and though it seems it’d make for a noisier stay, it really didn’t. Noise from outside was mostly muffled and I slept cozily. It’s great for single travelers and families.

Beautiful harbor views!
The staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and comfortable. There are two amazing restaurants on site. The view from the balcony room is fantastic! You are in easy walking distance of lots of beautiful views and restaurants. It’s a very convenient location!

The hotel wAS understaffed. It took 45 min to check in. No one was at the desk when I left. The fan in the room would not turn off and I had to call for help twice. The restaurants next to the hotel - McCormick & Schmit and Ruth Chris Steak house had lousy food and were expensive. The view from the hotel was nice - able to walk around. Noisy at night.
