Front desk person I encountered on arrival was slow and remarkably incommunicative.
Room was generally good, but lacked touches I expect from a "full" Hilton.
ONE tiny wastebasket in the entire room, and it was in the bathroom. What about room trash? Food containers, drink bottles, trash from coffee/tea service, etc. I don't like to create work for people, but you apparently expect your housekeeping staff to come in and dispose of all manner of garbage without wastebaskets.
Towels were atrocious. Felt like cardboard, which is OK (maybe) in a 2.5-star hotel, but not in a Hilton.
On balance, the Hilton Garden Inns I've stayed in are better than this hotel.
