The bed in this room was on a box spring and was nothing like what the photos show on the ad. The general areas smelled like smoke and the noise level was so awful that we got about 4 hours of sleep. This was by far the worst hotel experience I've ever had and I will never stay here again.

The price was good. The room was clean but I give it 4 because the room had a funny smell. It’s probably because they have people staying there long term and cook all kinds of funky food. Also there might be people who don’t shower often and love their body odor, so the room smelled like someone lived there for a long time who had BO and cooked a lot of stinky dishes. Other than that, I appreciate the laundry room, the security and the ample parking. I had to keep a scented candle on at all times though. Next time, I will bring my own pots, pans, dishes and such so I can take advantage of the nice stove and full size refrigerator.

Been here 6 months for work staff is excellent rooms are clean. And the area is okay close to a few fast food restaurants. But everything else seems to be about 15 to 20 minutes out

The room and it’s furniture was well worn and had a gross smell, not fresh, air con was very noisy. No toiletries (shampoo, body wash, tissues), or hair dryer.. the basic expectations in a hotel room. Shower and sink obviously not cleaned between guests. Yelling coming from neighboring rooms during the night. Felt very unsafe at this hotel, in the car park and in Bakersfield in general.

We checked in about 7:40 pm… no later than an hour after that there was constant stomping and doors slamming from the room right above us. We called the front desk atleast 4 times before midnight. Got zero sleep. Also… there were two bugs.

I like to say all staff members are very nice and friendly. Always there to help you with anything you need. I would highly recommend the woodspring hotel. Clean rooms, the Staff always greeting with friendly smiles.
