Nasty carpets and poor breakfast
The carpet in hallways is soiled, shredded in places, and needs desperate replacement. Breakfast was out of plates for 3 days, juicer doesn’t work, out of milk one day, and coffee thermoses had worn out pumps.

1) the “breakfast” was terrible. The eggs were (literally) green. Everything was cold (sausage, potatoes, eggs). There was NO coffee made in all 6 of the cofee pots available. 2) we had a pullout bed for my daughter but no pillows. I asked for a pillow and the front desk staff said there weren’t any “extras”. I didn’t want extras…I wanted a singular pillow for her bed. So she ended up sleeping with no pillows! 😡

Hubby & I stayed one night. We attended a concert near by and the hotel was located in a good spot for us. Bed was comfortable, clean room. Had a minor smell to it but nothing horrible. Good stay for a night.

Check in was fast and easy. Location was great, right off the highway. The room was as expected. The beds were comfy. The toilet paper roll was insanely far away from the toilet. Not sure why someone would put the toilet paper way over by the sink and not the toilet. I had to stand up to grab it. That was not cool. Breakfast says it was served from 7a-10a. Not true, they ended early. I got down at 9:40 to eat and there was nothing left. The lady stood there and told me she wasn’t putting anymore food out. There was 8 of us in line with no food. The gravy, apple juice, waffle batter, bread and sausage were all empty. The omelets were cold. The only thing I could eat was cereal. It should not say served until 10 if it’s not. I could have came sooner if they would have said 9:30 instead. The elevators are tiny so we had to wait multiple times for people to exit before there was room to get in. Other than that it was as expected.

My family got 4 rooms on 3 different floors. When we walked in we noticed a bad odor. Carpets were dirty, one of the bathrooms had hair on the floor, furniture and bathroom counters were old. They are not good at answering phones either. The building was poorly maintained. I was very surpised being that La Quinta and whynham chains are normally very nice and well kept.

The property is in a poor location with a lot of transient activity. However, the real issue is the condition of the interior—it’s dirty and in serious need of a rehab. My biggest complaint was finding bugs crawling on me at night in the first room I was given, which was the last straw. I chose this property because it was conveniently located next to a project I was working on, but the lack of cleanliness suggests a systemic problem. This is a management issue, and it’s up to them to decide whether to rehabilitate the property. I would never stay there again. Considering it's a branded property, if I owned the company, I wouldn’t want my name associated with it.
