Good hiking possibilities. Are you looking for active outdoor vacations, this is the right place; this district shows a beautiful combination of mountains and sea. The islands have a friendly hiking terrain and on the island Smøla the highest point is just 64 m above sea level. The island of Tustna is considered the cradle of clipper fishing, which grew into one of the most important industries in the region. You can learn more about the local fishing on Tustna at Kråksundet Sjøbruksmuseum.
