The staff was very nice and welcoming, and the views were acceptable. However, as a manager for a cleaning company, I must note that the room could have been significantly cleaner, which severely impacted the stay. An unpleasant, strange odor was noticeable immediately in the room and present in the elevator, which also had a seemingly inappropriate scratch in the paint. Maintenance issues were apparent: dust along the wall trim behind the TV, fingerprints on the wall above the window, and one curtain was stuck. The chair was visibly and heavily stained, and finding a few hairs in the bathtub obviously showed the tub had not been cleaned properly before our arrival. Separately, the beds were extremely hard—like sleeping on a rock—and the two pillows provided minimal support, though the bedding was clean. For the price, the value was poor, as I was surprised there was no complimentary breakfast, and we incurred an additional daily parking fee. Furthermore, the pool was visibly unmaintained, with a clear pile of dirt/grime resting in the corner of the bottom. Unfortunately, due to these easily fixable issues regarding cleanliness and basic comfort, I have to give the hotel 3 out of 5 stars. Seeing how nice and welcoming the staff are, I sincerely hope hotel management will see to these necessary fixes soon.
