I recently booked a stay through Expedia, and it turned into a nightmare. The room I was given was infested with BEDBUGS. Yes, you read that right – bedbugs! After being bitten multiple times and discovering these disgusting pests in the bed, I immediately contacted the hotel management, expecting some form of prompt and sincere action.
The hotel’s response? They offered me a meager voucher, which was basically useless. When I tried to order food from the room service menu, I was told that I couldn’t use the voucher for that. The audacity! After all the stress and inconvenience of dealing with bedbugs, the least they could do was comp a meal or two. But no, they seemed more interested in minimizing their losses than actually providing decent customer service.
