Great stay for being close to city center, shops and restaurants. The staff were very helpful with transportation from airport to the hotel and making sure we had everything we needed once we were there.

Perfect location. Close to Monasteraki, Ermou and Plaka. Hop on hop off bus only a 3 minute walk. Plenty of food options and staff were lovely. Fold out couch was like a double bed and very comfortable for our teenage kids. Shower was nice and large. Happy there were 2 air-conditioners as we stayed in the peak of summer. Thankyou GK Athens we would be happy to stay with you again.

Very nice stay
Clean, quiet, convenient walk to restaurants and the Plaka! The staff were very helpful and we were able to store our luggage in the office before we went to the airport.

A sofa bed is not a bed only because you add a dirty old thin cotton mattress on top of it. My wife's and son's backs hurt because of the bad "bed". Will not return

It was not clear from the photos that this room was a basement apartment and while there were windows they really weren’t anything more then filtered light so the flat was like a box and it was just outside a computer area were other guests could be heard as though they were in the room. The staff was great, location ideal and room was clean. If our room was up off the ground floor I would recommend to anyone but for me, it was uncomfortable. Fine for one night

The pull-out is terrible , tried contacted the property and they offered to fix it next day. Expedia was not helpful also - offered 30$ for sleepless night. Don't rent this property - find something more reliable Regards

The room was extremely good value. Close to a busy street, so it is little noisy with the windows open at night. Air Conditioning works well, so no need to keep windows open. I would stay there again.

Worst room i have stayed so far
My experience at this particular accommodation was very bad. The only thing worth it was the behavior of the staff which was excellent. The room was the worst I have stayed in so far. The outside windows were all broken, none would close. The bed was so bad we couldn't even sleep. There are no cupboards anywhere in the room. We stayed there for 6 nights. The second day they didn't even make our beds. On the third day we were laid without sheets only with a blanket. The room was not cleaned and after an observation made then on the fourth day they cleaned it. The noise from inside the building was too much, there was no soundproofing at the entrance door, we were woken up from 07:00 by her voices. Overall it was a very bad experience. The accommodation was an office at least 70-80 years old that with some arrangement I turned it into a room. The rating for that room 8.6 I don know from were it comes.

The communication from the staff was great. It was easy for our taxi driver to find from the airport. Very close walking distance to Plaka and archeological parks. Would stay here again!

Understand that this is at best two-star lodging, with no staff present except between 12:00 and 22:00 each day. The view out the windows are of the building center. That said, the price and convenience makes GK Athens well worthwhile.
