A quaint family run hotel right next to the train station. The staff are friendly and helpful, and breakfast includes custom-made cappucino, coffee of choice by the host. Everything is clean and the beds are comfy, but pillows need an upgrade. The rooms are nice and traditionally furnished, comfortable. I wish they had better lighting; very dark at night, too dark even to read in bed.
The only downside to this hotel is it's right across from the train station. Surprisingly, we heard no train noise in 2 days, but lots of noisy cars and various train station riff-raff milling around. Not unsafe, just a bit grungy. But it's a 5 minute walk to the town center, and worth the savings in cost.
