We stayed in one of the apartments, which are quite some distance away from the main hotel (about 300 m) in a different gated area. The apartments are comfortable, but the kitchen is very small and the cooking equipment in our 4 person apartment would only suffice 2 people. There is also a very small sofa, which again is just about fine for two people but would not seat more. The air conditioning is not as strong as conventional air conditioning, so it was able to cool the rooms down but not as much as one might expect. The apartments have a shared terrace (no private terrace), which can become slightly uncomfortable if some of the other quests smoke (which is very common in Italy). Also, if your apartment is not on the ground floor, you will have to carry everything (food, drink) down the stairs. There is a swimming pool with a separate seating area for each apartment, so there is no worry that all seat and umbrellas are taken by others. The swimming pool is quite basic, with a constant depth of about 1.20 meters, so no shallower area for small children. Also, there is only a three step ladder to get in and out of the pool, which again would only be suitable for mobile adults. Finally, guests are allowed to bring dogs and these dogs are allowed to run around the premises freely. This is great if you are a dog lover, but bot so great of you are not.
