Great choice for a relaxing trip
Paul, the innkeeper, is super nice and helpful. The Mansion is beautiful and well appointed for modern times. The four course breakfast was awedsome. The mansion is up on a hill away from Downtown Asheville. If you like to relax in your room, this is a great option. I am more of a explorer while traveling so coming home after 10PM was challenging since the parking lot is dark.

Paul was very welcoming right from the start and his breakfast was divine! Really enjoyed coming here and will come back. Nothing to really dislike - the pool was a little cold but other than that everything was perfect!

From the moment you arrive at Reynolds Mansion, you know it’s going to be a great trip. Paul and his staff welcome you as soon as you arrive. Paul gave us the grand tour of the home and grounds and showed us everything that we could possibly need and more for a relaxing stay. The mansion was clean, comfortable and very welcoming. The food! Paul is quite the chef. Everything that came out for breakfast was amazing! A four course breakfast is served, complete with coffee, water, juice and tea. You will leave Reynolds Mansion feeling full and refreshed. Would definitely stay there again!

Exceeding Expectations
It struck me on the return trip home that for the first time in all of my travels to the NC mountains, our most memorable highlight turned out to be the experience at The Reynolds Mansion. Lodging and hospitality are typically low on the list of concerns, particularly when camping. People visit the Blue Ridge for the clean air and the gorgeous vistas. And note that the weather was beautiful; even awakening to fresh snowfall in the morning! The point being that we've never felt so appreciated and welcomed in our lives, and the breakfasts that were prepared and served by the staff far surpassed the other meals served by multiple restaurants in Asheville. Our stay at the Reynolds Mansion will be fondly recalled for the rest of our lives ! Well Done!

From arrival to departure, this was one of the best B & B experiences of our lives! Paul and Mirlin made us feel welcomed with attention to details that many hosts overlook. THIS is the B&B experience that you hope for! No details were overlooked, and we would highly recommend a stay at the Reynolds Mansion!!!

The hospitality at this bed and breakfast was fantastic! Paul greeted us with glasses of water and gave us a tour of the house and grounds with information regarding former owners and occupants. Our room was comfortable and had everything we needed. The views from the balconies were beautiful. The 4 course breakfast on the back porch was delightful. Highly recommend!

Owners were very proud of the mansion, and it showed via cleanliness, upkeep, and incredible dining experience. They provided a full history of the manor. The staff all wore masks, and the breakfast was 4.9/5.0 stars [better than a fourseasons resort)! The grounds included a large pool and spawling gardens that were well maintained.

What is there not to like?! Let us begin our journey at our arrival. As you pull onto the property, you are immediately taken back by the beauty of the grounds. The signs directing you to the various areas of the grounds (parking, exit, and guest check in) were all easy to read and interpret. As you park in front of the house for check in, you will walk up the door and ring the door bell :) Greeting us at the door was Sandy and Paul. Paul owns the property with his spouse, and Sandy felt like she was an extension of the house :) she was so in tune with the house. We were welcomed into one of the many rooms of the house where we were enthralled by the library, decor, and hospitality being shown! We chatted for a bit before getting a rundown and a tour. Paul and I spoke while my wife handled things with Sandy. They were sure to inform us that the house was at our disposal, and to explore any open rooms of the house at our leisure.

Breakfasts were so delicious, the owner and staff are very friendly and so willing to help plan your stay with wonderful things to do. My bed was very comfortable and the bathtub divine. Lots of stairs to navigate throughout the property. Although the mansion sits on a sizeable lot, the area around it is quite developed. This in no way caused unpleasant noise or irritation. Easy access into town by car, many fun things to do in Asheville.

First experience of b&b in USA, special celebration, wanted to stay somewhere special too - not disappointed. Beautiful old building on national register of important buildings, renovated and refurbished to a high standard, Hosts manage to re create. The atmosphere af a country estate and trea t you as a much welcome friend. Coffee and pastries always available, help yourself to a glass of wine, sit on our porch or in our library and relax....... Breakfast is family dining, you will be entertained d with stories of the Reynolds family, the history of the house and it's ghosts, by the end of the. Stay you feel like family. Be aware, some building work nearby. Some distance out of town but good food available nearby.

Wouldn't stay anywhere else in Asheville!!
We were hesitant to stay at a B&B, but this place wa great! Billy lovingly restored the mansion 5 years ago and it is gorgeous! We stayed in the carriage house thinking we would like a little extra privacy, but I think we would have been fine in the main house too. The breakfast each day was great and filling enough to allow for just a small snack in the afternoon, then dinner at one of the fabulous local restaurants. We will definitely be returning!!
