Moroccan Inspired Cottage

Permitted Homestay:
Artist owned and designed, two story cottage sanctuary. One bedroom, w/ bathroom and a kitchen. Single bed/reading loft is above kitchen area. In a quiet neighborhood, cottage is within walking distance of Haywood Road's Owl Bakery, The Admiral, Asian and pizza restaurants, a five minute walk to Carrier Park that runs along the French Broad River and two miles from downtown. River Arts district is a 5 minute drive or 30minute walk. Cottage captures elements of Mediterranean and France. One of a kind and built 4 years ago, this space is a true retreat while visiting Asheville.

Kitchen has coffee maker, french press, coffee and creamer. The cottage has air conditioning and heating. The bedroom with a queen size bed is upstairs along with a bathroom and shower. A sinhke bed is downstairs above kitchen table. Off street parking is possible if that is a preference. I leave coffee and creamer for each guest.

Two cats named Rue and Ginko may wander around your entrance looking for an ear scratch.
Make yourself comfortable in this air-conditioned cottage, featuring a kitchen with a refrigerator and an oven. There's a private patio. Complimentary wireless internet access keeps you connected, and a Smart television is provided for your entertainment. Conveniences include a microwave and a coffee/tea maker.

Camille has created a welcoming oasis in the mountains of North Carolina. The house and landscaping are beautiful. I bet during the summer, it’s totally magical. Pictures can’t convey the energy of this space. It was really very nice. The decor is fun and unique and cozy. She has thought of everything you might need for your stay. I hope to be able to visit again!

This place was absolutely perfect. I found it online because it was a different style than all the other places I saw and it was even more incredible in person! The property outside is gorgeous with all the surrounding garden and chickens and 2 cats would greet us whenever we left or arrived. The inside was even more amazing in that you truly felt like you were in a Moroccan cottage but in the mountains of Asheville. We were able to chat with Camille a couple times and she was so warm and friendly and gave us recommendations on some places to visit in town. We were there for a 40th birthday celebration and we decided to now make it an annual trip to stay in this beautiful home. Thank you for everything and see you again soon!

We loved staying at the mermaid cottage for a few days while in Asheville! Is very central to great restaurants and things to do around the city! The cottage was very cozy and we loved having a greeting and send off liaison every time we arrived at or left the cottage (one of the two kitties) ! We would definitely stay here again!

Was overall a great stay! Everything was very clean and appeared exactly like in the photos. We had only one issue, which was the instructions for entering the building were slightly unclear; though the owner responded in a timely manner to assist, and so it was no big deal. Highly recommend!

We loved every second of our stay in Asheville and we really enjoyed this home and every single thoughtful detail. It’s cozy but has everything you may need, apart from a washer and dryer which we did not need while we were there. Camille was available for any questions. Excellent Weekend Getaway

We were greeted by a beautiful garden and 2 friendly kitties As soon as we walked in the door, we knew it was going to be a great stay. The bed was super comfy, the kitchen well equipped and everything was clean and tidy. The location was in a great neighborhood with a disc golf course a short walk away. Next time we’re in Asheville, we hope to stay again!

Purrfest Cottage

A lovely quaint experience of soft colors, fabrics, textures and details. We felt wrapped in the charm of the Moroccan Cottage and overflowing gardens. Our feline ambassadors quelled our homesickness and allowed us morning and evening pets. While we didn't partake of the fire pit or tub, the gardens surrounding them made for memorable pics.

A Delight!!

My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our 3-day stay at the Moroccan Cottage. Communication with Camille, the host was excellent. The cottage is thoughtfully decorated and well outfitted. It was very welcoming with a beautifully landscaped outdoor sitting/meditation area where we enjoyed our morning coffee. We would most definitely stay here again if in the Asheville area.

Very Lovely Stay in Asheville

We planned a long weekend in Asheville some time ago and while my partner and I usually stay in a hotel, this lovely spot appeared while doing some window shopping on other places to stay and we just couldn’t resist its charm!It was so clean, well maintained, and very very charming. While we unfortunately had to cut our trip short by one night, we loved our stay!The host was also incredible generous with her communication and attentive to our needs as the some work was being done on the property. Her friendly, helpful, and responsive communication really allowed us to relax and take in a side of Asheville we hadn’t yet had the pleasure of seeing. We will most certainly be back!
