What a great hotel! They did an incredible job of rehabbing this wonderful flat iron building. It's like stepping back in time when you enter. The valet and front desk clerk were very friendly and made us feel welcome. Due to the shape of the building, our room was a bit on the smaller side but was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. We were only here for 1 night, but we got to enjoy the rooftop bar, the restaurant and the Speakeasy downstairs. We had the lemon pizza and it was delicious. The location is fantastic. It's walkable to all the downtown attractions, stores and restaurants. Would 100% recommend. We will definitely stay here again the next time we're in Asheville.

The rooms are smaller but comfy. The hotel had wonderful attributes and I loved the history. I would stay there again. Staff was attentive. Rooms were clean. Great location!

Visited the roof top bar and thouroghly enjoyed the sunset views. The hotel was refreshing and enjoyed our stay for sure -throwback 20's was quite unique - The renovation was remarkable. Will definitely visit again

Such a cool hotel in a cool town. We love art deco, and this was it! Super friendly staff brought us to our room in a 1930's elevator. Super clean, very comfy room, roof top decks were amazing.

We stayed at the Flat Iron to celebrate our 1 year anniversary and our experience was impeccable. The staff members were very friendly and helpful. The room and hotel itself was spotless and beautifully decorated, with much of its history still reserved, but with some modern touches. We loved the Luminosa restaurant, Red Ribbon Society speakeasy, and the rooftop. The location of the hotel is in the heart of downtown, and convenient to shopping areas. 10/10 recommend staying here if you’re visiting downtown Asheville and looking to stay somewhere special.

Great location downtown. Easy walk to local restaurants, bars and shops. Walking distance to craft beer in the South Slope Brewing District and galleries in the River Arts District. Check in was wonderful with an offering craft beer or sparkling wine on arrival. Some rooms are a bit smaller. Staff was helpful with recommendations and directions. The roof top bar is nice, pizza from the restaurant downstairs is available. The speakeasy in the basement has very good drinks. Check on the hours for each because they do not seem consistent. The restaurant next store is very busy so make sure to make a reservation. Definitely would stay again.
