Switchback mountain
We made fantastic memories at switchback mountain aka Nine Pines. We nicknamed it switch back mountain because the amount of turns you take to get up to the house are so many it feels like you're climbing switchbacks. None of us ever got the directions memorized, we needed GPS anytime we came or went.
The home was well appointed, comfortable, and we appreciated the AC & comfy beds very much!
Here are the pros:
-well stocked supplies in kitchen (spices, foil, sandwich bags, etc)
-great BBQ
- nice view (you're up high on the ridge almost at the top of the treeline) sunsets were lovely!
- comfy beds
-nice big dining table that fit us all comfortably
-comfy couches (they suck ya in!)
- great AC
Cons:
- long drive from the entrance to the neighborhood
- needs a good dusting job
- needs TLC it's quite old/dated/stains on the carpets and walls
- deck railing was very wobbly it made the adults nervous so we didn't let the kids out on the deck much
-the only cookie sheet was half the normal size which made cooking some of our meals tricky
I was very impressed with the property management company! They were very helpful and very professional!
Note to renters, to use the pool/lake area you will pay $20 per person per day. So plan accordingly!
