Location was fine. Desk clerk very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was not what I normally see. It was a motel for people working in the area. Good location on main street but also close to busy railroad. Several trains throughout the night. Got what we paid for

The staff is exceptional. If we asked for something we got it instantly. I literally saw the front desk attendant running to retrieve towels for my family. They have free snacks and beverages available 24/7. We asked for tea packets which they normally stock as part of their breakfast menu. They were unfortunately out, but instead of disappointing us they dipped into their personal supply and gave it to us. Very small town friendly!!! The rooms are older and adequate. I have no complaints, but they could use a refresh.

Although this is an older property, the area is safe, the rooms are clean, the beds are very comfortable, and great water pressure in the shower. We stay here often!!

Disappointing with deferred maintenance. After we checked in then we learned that electric service was partially out in most hotel rooms so we had no vanity/bathroom lighting. They had called someone to “fix” this (which we learned after we checked in near 6pm). I believe it was wrong to rent us such an uninhabitable room at the time but in any case this issue should have been disclosed to us prior to checking us in. We didn’t get a refund (hence this verified review) and instead booked a different hotel for the night which was great.
