Villa Aspro is located in Apokoronos county, on the east of the city of Chania. It overlooks the Cretan Sea to the north and gazes at the White Mountains to the east as it stands close to beautiful beaches and genuinely traditional villages.
The three-storey 200 sq. m villa has been designed to make you feel at home, through its rather modern, airy and hospitable character.
It can accommodate 10 people in beds in its 5 bedrooms, making it perfect to host up to two families travelling together.
The whole building and facilities are high quality throughout and great care can be seen in every detail including Cocomat beddings and hydromassage showers in all the bedrooms and bathrooms.
- Indoor layout -
Entering the villa on the ground floor there is a spacious open plan area consisting of the living room with a large sofa, a fireplace, a 42" satellite HDTV, an indoor dining area and a fully equipped kitchen of top quality fixtures and appliances including a wine cooler. The living room area opens directly to the outdoor terrace and the pool area.
As going through a corridor on the ground floor, there is a hall where a WC is found. This floor also hosts a bedroom with a double bed, a 32" satellite HDTV, a closet and an en-suite bathroom with shower. The bedroom also has access to the outdoor area.
Reaching the first floor through a staircase, there is a hall where a bathroom with shower is located. Then there are 2 bedrooms on the first floor both with 2 single beds and an en-suite bathroom with shower.
The staircase leads further up to the loft where two bedrooms both with 2 single beds are located. There is flexibility to create a King size bed by joining two single beds in one of the bedrooms.
- Outdoor area -
The beautifully landscaped outdoor area surrounded by various trees and flowers offers a variety of facilities and spots for relaxation.
More specifically our outdoor facilities include:
- 32 sq. m ecological swimming pool. The pool can be heated with an additional daily charge for entire stay, upon request (Please note that the pool heating can be used upon advance request for the entire stay and it requires at least one week advance notice).
- Fully equipped charcoal barbecue
- Outdoor dining table
- A variety of furnished spots (with sun beds, umbrellas and chairs) for relaxing in the terrace and the gardens around the villa
- 3 bicycles
- Parking space
The whole outdoor area is totally private and fenced, offering full privacy to our guests.
INFORMATION ABOUT THE AREA
The Villa is located in Aspro, a traditional Cretan village with narrow stone streets, great views and paths to walk which is located on a hill in the Apokoronas and its only 2 minutes from the sea and nearby villages with tavernas and more.
The closest living area is Almyrida , which is located (23km east of Chania city) on the south shores of Souda Bay and it is a very quiet resort with all basic amenities such as restaurants, cafes, mini-markets and superb sea. Another living area nearby is Kalives village (5 km away) ideal place for your holiday with all facilities (restaurants & cafes, super markets, bank, pharmacies, doctors, shops, fuel stations etc.) and its amazing beach.
Close to the villa you will find several sandy beaches that you should visit. One of the most popular beaches in addition to the nearest beach of Almirida and Kalives is Kiani Akti beach, a very well-organized beach with crystal clear waters and plenty of water sports and services, around 7 km away.
The villas location is ideal for one more reason: it is close to the main national road, thus making excursions around the west and southwest coastline and countryside, that are scattered with breathtaking beaches and picturesque villages, is a very easy thing to do.
In addition, if you are looking for privileges that only a big city can offer, then Chania town is around 30 minutes drive away and offers unique facilities and a wide variety of entertainment.

**Starting January 1, 2024, a new Greek tax was introduced which is called the "Climate Crisis Resilience Charge," requiring a fee of EUR10 per night from March to October and EUR4 per night from November to February. The amount needs to be paid in cash or by card upon your arrival at the villa.
