The hospitality was amazing, there was a lady who absolutely adored my 2-year-old. She noted that my daughter likes mickey and brought mickey cutlery for her the next day. Food was good, even my picky toddler ate lots. Room was spacious and clean, right next to lake towada. A charming ryokan and I would like to return again some day.
Good location close to the lake, sightseeing boats and the terminus for the JR bus. Typical Japanese style hotel with tatami mats, futon and traditional breakfast. The hotel now includes an onsen which was very pleasant. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. I speak Japanese - not sure how good their English is.
Excellent friendly service. This is however a Japanese Hote expecting Japanese guests and if you do not want to sleep on a Futon you MUST specify in advance. Best to let them know in advance as well if you are wanting westernised food as the norm is for high quality Japanese cuisine.
The hotel location is really close to bus station and easy access. The room is very large and clean with cold & hot drinking water bottle. Heater is working in good condition and keep the room in warm whole night. Dinner and breakfast are really delicious and the service is awesome even I do not know in Japanese. Just beside the lake and the view is very pretty. Highly recommended hotel.
Great location. 3 mins walk from the bus terminal which is the only publuc transportation to and from here. The hotel is situated by the lake with great view. For the price they charge, there is nothing to compliant. Room is clean. Food is great. The best of all is their staff. They are friendly and kind. They really go the extra mile to make sure you are happy and comfortable. The lady staff member Kumagaya san was extremely kind and served me really well. Woukd stay here again when I visit this area again for sure. Highly recommended!
It worths high rate because of good service and caring attitude. The location is near to the jr bus stop, that is convenient for me to go out. And, it was very delicious of their breakfast, so i and my husband like them much. But one thing is there is few entertainment, restaurant, and shops opened at night. You could bring your own instant cup noodles or bread for long night.
Our visit was a bit early in the year. All restaurants and almost all other hotels were closed. The management arranged a dinner at the hotel after it transpired that all other places were closed. The Spa was also eventually opened after we asked whether there was a public bath. Overall, very enjoyable stay ... but the time after the Golden Week or late autumn are most likely more suitable.
