This is a very great place to stay couple of Nights to check Anuradhapura. The staff Ann is super helpful, made sure that we are well looked after and I would for sure stay there again!

Great place to stay away from the chaos
Great friendly service and very helpful in providing advice, bikes and dinner during our stay. The rooms were spacious and clean, the only downside was the open air bathroom which invited in mosquitoes. All things considered it's a great place to stay.

This is a small hotel punching well above its weight thanks to the wisdom and care of its manager, Anna. As a family of 5 she looked after our every need - including excellent in house Ayervedic massage and bike hire. Rooms are clean, spacious and shower best so far in SL. Highly recommended.

My description of a resort would be different from Kutumbayas. I’d call it a guest house, but nevertheless it was very pleasant. It was a good location away from the bustling city but still close to the ancient capital. I enjoyed the breakfasts and dinners and the costs were very reasonable. The hosts were helpful and enjoyed sharing their Sri-Lanka food. You will not go hungry and are in for a treat. The room was nice, shower hot, a/c cold, and the bed comfortable.

We were visiting Anuradhapura and wanted somewhere near town. This hotel has their own TukTuk and as part of their service they collect you from the bus / train station - (sadly I missed the email from them) They also do free of charge drops off ! It’s about a 10min walk to the new town bus station so very close to town And a good market The family & staff who run the hotel are the sweetest / kindest people,the first night we were there they did not have any ginger ale-so they ran out to the local shop to get some - amazing service. It’s a lovely house set in a lovely but small garden, where you have breakfast / dinner and drinks at the bar the rooms are fairly large - king size beds incredibly comfortable. Our room had ac but no fan - and the room was quite dark, but there was a well placed reading light over the bed. A small corridor room with a kettle and sink and then a door opening onto an amazing open air bathroom - the rain head shower ( with hot water) is literally in the open air underneath trees - the toilet is covered with a glass roof so You won’t get wet and their is a large sink and a flattering mirror under cover . It was a great surprise when I opened the door - great shower ! You can see that design has gone into this small hotel - they’ve used poured concrete to great effect - if you want something different , something a bit funky stay here ! Food was good,we only had the breakfasts - but dinner was available. bicycles are on site.

Well locared with supportive staff.
Extremely supportive staff made my stay very enjoyable. Staff assisted with arranging transport, guides and outings. The room was functional and clean. It and had air conditioning and a television. The property had pleasant outdoor sitting and dining areas. Breakfast was not in the price but was adequate and at a reasonable cost.

Functional hotel-ok for a couple of nights.
Young man in charge has a surly,unfriendly attitude-like a teenager! He was not unhelpful but neither did he try to please-I seemed to interrupt his TV viewing! His assistant speaks no English whatsoever. Good shower,comfy bed. Safari organised but poor vehicle and a “guide” who just followed the other 4x4’s along the same dusty track. Ok for 2 nights. Did not choose to eat here.

Anuradhapura guest house
We stayed for four nights to visit Anuradhapura. The staff were very helpful and arranged bicycle hire for us, transport to the Wilpattu National Park and a car and driver to travel on to Pollinaruwa. If you are offered the choice, we'd recommend staying in the main building rather than the room in the garden, separate from the house. The family was very friendly. The breakfast was fine, but it would have been nice to have milk provided rather than sachets of powdered milk. You can order evening meals at the hotel.

Amazing value for money
Excellent value accommodation, new place, really clean. The bed had a fantastic mattress. Good a/c and ceiling fan. Hot water in the bathroom. Cable tv and good wifi. Breakfast was tasty and filling. Really friendly staff. Highly recommend staying here.

Nice clean spacious place. Good value for money. Only downside is that its close to a busy road. Earplugs and you will be fine. Prices for food a bit too high. Friendly staff. Ask for gayan as your guide! He is the best! Overall i would recomend this place!!

Die Unterkunft ist für eine Tour mit dem Tuk-Tuk durch die Stadt und die Umgebung gut gelegen. In der Nähe gibt es gute und günstige Möglichkeiten für ein Abendessen. Das Frühstück mit frischen Früchten im Haus ist empfehlenswert.

Superb staff!
The hotel is very new, so the rooms are very nice and compared to other accommodations very modern. All of the facilities worked perfectly and the shower was hot and strong. We felt very welcomed by the manager of the hotel. She explained in a very detailed way all of the sites to visit in the area and shared some secret spots with us. In addition, we had some nice chats about her and Sri Lanka. She even made us free fruit juices. The breakfast was very nice compared to other breakfast in Sri Lanka, because they offer some local breakfast specialities too. The only negative point was that the WiFi was very weak in the new bungalow we stayed in, but it worked in the common area. In the end, we can highly recommend this place and would stay there again.

The room is clean, and comfortable,we booked the family room for three persons. They provided bottled water an d heater so that we can drink hot tea and coffee. Toilet and bath room are open,but there are a high wall to protect our privacy. Good experience there.

2 nuits dans ce bel hôtel rénové. Si vous venez ici, ce que nous recommandons vivement, surtout n'allez pas au restaurant et mangez sur place. La propriétaire est une EXCELLENTE cuisinière. Localisation top pour la visite de la ville en vélo. Le staff propose des vélos pour 500 roupies. Nous avons été enchantés par notre séjour tant pour le lieu que pour le personnel qui était totalement à notre service. Chambres propres et de belle facture car rénovées récemment. Eau chaude. Bref que du bon pour ce pays
