I believe this is a decent hotel, the staff are friendly, and you could have a nice experience here. Despite having a reservation, we actually did not spend the night here too, so I cannot speak to the cleanliness of the room or its comfort. However, I wish to report my experience, which was less than ideal. In fairness, the staff did their best to rectify the situation. The first thing to be aware of is that this is a massive campground (expect a bit of chaos and the pool is shared with the 100's of campers), and the hotel and apartments appear to be sort of secondary to that. We attempted to stay here during a stage of the Tour de France, so one must expect some drama. I made the reservations months in advance. We showed up around 18:00, and check-in was a little slow, as they were extremely busy. That said, the staff were very friendly and spoke pretty good English too. We were given a key to our room and walked in to realize the apartment they gave us was occupied. Fortunately for us, the guests were not in the room. It could have been quite embarrassing. Mistakes happen. They kindly rebooked us up the road at a better (and cheaper) hotel. They wanted us to come back the second night, which proved inconvenient with the chaos of the Tour. We had a misunderstanding, where I asked for a refund for second night, they agreed, but did not honor it. It could be down to poor English, but I was not thrilled with how hotel handled it afterwards. Expedia refund us the night.
