This was a cool place to stay; historic and right in downtown Annapolis. It’s historic no frills place. It is an Inn not a hotel. There is no front desk attendant and no room service, no breakfast; so if you need something, get it early yourself or from the place you check in. It has a haunted reputation about town, which is why we stayed there. A couple of little things happened to us, but nothing major. Overall we would stay here again.

Amazing location in a cute historic building!!! It wasn’t perfect - my tv didn’t work (I never contacted the front desk about it so I’m sure they would have fixed it if I’d given them the chance), the room was small (it was just me so I didn’t mind), not perfectly cleaned….but that being said, I would 100% stay here again if I come up to Annapolis again! The location couldn’t be beat, the building itself was really cool, the front desk staff was super nice, they give you a little bottle of wine to enjoy, the bed and pillows were comfy. I truly loved my time here and hope I get to come back again!!!

The bed was NEVER made properly. A king bed with queen bedding does not work. After numerous attempts to get front desk and housekeeping to address this problem, it was never done right. It became obvious that housekeeping does not care about customer satisfaction or doing the work properly. The shower valve is broken and no one was remotely concerned. They even set up a maintenance dide to turn on and off the shower for us. Now this is ridiculous. Overall it was a horrible stay at the Johnson House. Never ever again.

Really enjoyed our stay but for some reason housekeeping never cleaned our room. Not a problem for a short stay but we would have ran out of towels and toiletries if we stayed one more day.
