1.The bathroom was recently renovated, but the layout was awkward, and the amenities provided were lacking.
2.I was charged two separate deposits during my stay, which I found unusual as a seasoned traveler who has visited four continents.
3.One of the deposits was for a dinner I had charged to my room, including the tip. It was unclear why a deposit was necessary for this!
4.When I asked for clarification at the reception, I was informed that the overcharged amount would be deducted from my total expenses after checkout, and the remaining amount would be refunded through my credit card in one or two months. I was told that all details would be on the receipt provided at checkout.
5.However, when I checked out the next day, the staff informed me that I would receive my receipt from Expedia and that they couldn’t print one.
6.I insisted on receiving a printed receipt, which was eventually provided. Later, I discovered that the information about the receipt being available on Expedia was incorrect; this only applies to those who pay through Expedia, not directly at the hotel.
7.Now, I have to wait for my next credit card bill to see if the refund from the double deposit is processed correctly, which is an unnecessary inconvenience.
Unfortunately, based on this experience, I cannot recommend this hotel to my friends and family. And I urge you to reconsider your decision on staying at this hotel.
