I booked this room for my senior citizen mother and she has an awful experience! Starting with the shuttle that picked her up from the airport - there was a van with NO sign so she had NO idea to get on and she missed it THREE times! This was at 12:30-1am so you can imagine she was exhausted and extremely frustrated!!!! Upon check in - they gave her a room all the way upstairs in the back - she is also slightly handicapped and has a bad knee so cannot walk well. Upon arrival to her room the lock was broken - she had to walk back downstairs to the front desk and the floors were wet (they did not clean any snow or water) and she slipped and fell and had a bloody hand. There was also a homeless man lingering the premises and around her room so she was scared she was going to get robbed and did not feel safe the entire time. The rooms are average and beds very uncomfortable. She brought this up to the manger the next day but they did not care to do anything to remedy her ordeal. I am very disappointed in Puffin Inn and their staff and would NEVER stay at this again!!!!

The room is smaller in size and very basic, but generally clean, although there was some mold surrounding the top of the bathtub. The shower itself was nice. Pretty good water pressure. I don't generally like two in one shampoo and conditioner, but this one was not bad (meaning it was fairly easy to brush my hair afterwards). It along with the lotion had a nice scent (I think cucumber melon). I have not gone to the breakfast yet, so can't comment on that. The staff was nice. Our TV was not working and someone came up immediately and helped us. I believe the hotel is being remodeled, just not sure they have completely updated ours yet. The bed is really soft, which isn't my favorite, but may be for someone else. We chose this place because it is close to the airport.
