The room was good for an overnight stay and was convenient to the train depot. We very much appreciated that the hotel was a shelter for those impacted by the recent typhoon.

The breakfast menu was great! Ray, the attendant, was constantly keeping breakfast fresh and replacing food as necessary. He deserves more than a 5 star. Trisca, the morning desk clerk was very helpful and provided information as needed. Keep up the good work, it was a good reflection on the hotel on behalf of her. There is an Hispanic lady that works evenings or night that was not knowledgeable of the hotel's policies and procedures and therefore provided me with erroneous information and she did not display any hospitality especially for newcomers. On behalf of her, I checked out the hotel early in order to enjoy my stay at the Wingate by Wyndham Anchorage.

Despite having made reservations prior to travel AND paying for it online we were told they had "overbooked" at our 1:30 am check in time (another item that had been cleared prior to arrival). The night manager did not make us a reservation at another location, nor did she try to locate another room. I have been a pretty regular guest until this time, but will not return.

The hotel stunk when I walked in to the lobby. I had to wait 10 minutes for someone to show up at the front desk to check me into my room. Key card finally worked the third time I tried it. The pool was freezing cold there’s no coffee maker in my room And the chair in the corner. Looks like it belongs outside. Very disappointed in the quality from Wyndham as I have stayed at many Wyndham’s in this has got to be the.

We didn't have breakfast. The room was big but with no extra furniture. No coffee in room. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Signed up for shuttle for next morning, went down to check on shuttle time, we were not signed up. The guy in the late afternoon wrote it down, but I don't know where. The lady in the morning was great about getting us the shuttle. Farther from the airport than the guy on the phone said when we booked it.

Room was great, but there were some rigs that looked like vagrants lived in them in the parking lot. There was a small bus with a flat tire that had tags that expired over a year ago & plants growing in a manner suggesting it hasn’t moved in a very long time.
