The place was very clean and comforatble. The parking area is full of potholes. The laundry room was clean but the dryers need upgrading as it took a long time to dry the clothes. Liked the shuttle service to the airport. The staff was very helpful.

Slept really well, comfortable beds, pillows and linen. Breakfast had egg patties and meat, one waffle iron is tough for so many folks wanting a waffle. I don't blame them. I am disappointed that we (another 2-customers), waited for someone to check us out. I called 3-times to get their attention, but after 15-minutes, we all left. With cameras and a busy morning with a hot breakfast, you'd be amazing no one was watching the front.

The unit was good for our need, price was pretty expensive, but all lodging is expensive in the area. There was really no place to eat close by without a car. We ended up ordering pizza from Papa John’s. Which was delivered hot and on time. Would probably pay more and stay downtown the next time. Really missed out on seeing Anchorage. But those are not the fault of Baymont. They did provide airport pickup and return to the airport in the morning to catch the ACT Bus.

A place to rest but ... wow ... need attention
The good: quiet (mostly), straight shot to the airport, beds were comfortable, shower water pressure fine, the front desk personnel were friendly, evidence left, if you know what I mean, of moose activity in the immediate area, wifi was serviceable. The bad: not enough towels for party size listed, electrical outlets beside beds were difficult to get to (under a floating night stand), a strange mirror stretched across the entire room above the headboards, and an 80s style 'shop lite' provided overhead lighting. The parking lot has garbage strewn about, including a baby practice toilet seat. The ugly: bath tub would not drain fast enough so soon you stood ankle deep in water (yes I checked and tried to ensure it was fully open), house keeping left us with a dirty toilet, the shampoo bottles were empty (not replaced), front staff did not understand what a wash cloth was (looked puzzled), the first floor hall smelled horribly of cleaning fluid and curry.

Convenient to airport. Not pristine condition but adequate and a good rate for a huge suite. Breakfast included waffle maker and sausage and eggs. Not certain if I would be comfortable walking to back parking lot alone late evening.

Had a difficult time reaching the hotel to get the shuttle service. I callec 3 times with no answer or ability to leave a message. Had to call 800 number for them to reach the hotel. I asked twice for a quiet room which they did not do. The coffee maker basket was full of old moldy coffee grounds. And there was no shower curtain in the bathroom. When i told the front desk about it, she just handed me a clean one for me to install.

The hotel is older and dated in the lobby. The rooms appear to have been updated. Overall the hotel was functional and affordable. It's very close to the airport and a 10 minute walk to the bus stop. Adults can take a bus downtown for $2, kids are free. The staff was nice and helpful. The mini van shuttle is older and could use an upgrade or at a minimum fix the broken seatbelt in the third row. The included breakfast was basic; cereal, yogurt, make your own waffle, and a couple of hot entries like eggs and sausage.

The staff was remarkable. Siam, Jacob, and Michelle were great shuttle drivers, and Maa'Malua was an extraordinary front desk host. They were all very helpful and very friendly. We'll stay there again.

No pillows on request. A/C didn’t work. Mold in shower. Asked to pay for later checkout and they said no. Smelled Bad. Poor service. The only positive we had was their ability to shuttle from the airport. (Car had check engine light on and smelled bad) Donut holes at breakfast were good!
