Nice hotel for family
It was amazing to stay and the staff was very cooperative and nice. Please provide some information for best reach by train or bus to Central Amsterdam from hotel to save time for their guests.

Amsterdam being pretty expensive we choose to stay a bit further out. This hotel is perfect for the airport- just one stop away on the train. It's about half an hour away from the center, so it's not bad. But there isn't much around the hotel at all! Train station is three minutes walk away. There is a Lidl about ten to fifteen minutes walk away. The room itself was nice with comfortable beds and a nice bathroom with shower. There was a mini fridge and a good size TV with plenty of international channels including Disney. WiFi was good too. There was a coffee maker in the room which didn't work and which was not maintained by housekeeping- sachets were never replaced in the four day stay. Towels were clean but stained. There was fluff in bathroom door the entire time we were there. There was an ice machine in the hall, but only disposable cups - not great for the environment. I asked for an ice bucket but they didn't have one. Why provide an ice machine without an ice bucket? Nice hotel, just rushed and poor housekeeping.

It’s such a shame my experience here was tarnished by one situation. I paid for early check in on the first day which was easy enough. But then every day of my stay (4 days) they charged my card with early check in (€40 a day). As someone that came to Amsterdam on a budget this made a huge negative impact to my holiday. €40 a day out of my account was terrible for me and meant it negatively impacted my holiday. The workers at the hotel were understanding and said they will refund me. But said they couldn’t stop the money from coming out every day and would have to refund it all at the end. I personally don’t think that is good enough and I am still waiting for my refund. Such a shame that it ruined my stay, and actually tarnished my whole holiday. If that hadn’t of happened, it would have been a nice stay as the room and location were lovely.

Great hotel to stay at if you need a place to sleep. Service upon arrival was fast and easy. Breakfast was decent but a bit pricey if it’s not included in your room. Once arrived we checked in and our regular room was dirty so we got upgraded to an executive room. Didn’t see much of a difference other than an added fridge. The drinks in the fridge looked a bit old though. Almost like the room wasn’t checked for a few months. Bed was a bit stiff to what I’m used to but was able to sleep well. Restroom was spacious and clean, shower could be designed better in my opinion. Floor was very slippery that I had a fall accident. Luckily it wasn’t really serious that I required medical attention. Other than that I enjoyed my stay at Novotel.

Our time at this hotel was unexpected as our flight was cancelled due to the Microsoft glitch and we had to wait a few days for our new flight. However, it was really an enjoyable stay. The staff was friendly and helpful, the rooms were spacious and comfortable and the food was delicious! We look forward to our next stay there!

Great hotel to stay at before catching a flight from Schiphol early. Less than 10 minutes drive from Schiphol, yet quiet. Not many dining options around. Parking is paid and can be expensive for longer stays. Hotel is clean and staff is very helpful

The lady on reception was so welcoming and just really warming and lovely. After a cancelled flight, myself and my family just needed to rest and recuperate and they made us feel very welcome. The restaurant food was delicious. Bed was comfy and that was all we needed! Only thing I would of said was it would of been handy if they sold tshirts/ dressing gowns... something! Our luggage was lost and we had no clothes to change to. Not the hotels fault but I would of bought something if they sold it!!
