I recently stayed at the NH Hotel Amsterdam and unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing.The team was generally not welcoming or accommodating, except for Liam from reception, who was polite and helpful.
Upon arrival, I requested to change my room from the ground floor to an upper floor, but the receptionist initially refused. When she finally agreed, the new room was very old and not up to standard. I asked again to be relocated, and she continued to refuse until I mentioned that I’m a frequent NH traveler and would file a complaint — only then did she provide a different room.
It was clear that many rooms were still available, but the staff were not supportive
