This hotel is absolutely gorgeous, perfectly located near downtown yet wonderfully peaceful! I booked a canal-view room, and the floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the water made me want to sit by the window all day. The entire place is spotless, the front desk staff are incredibly friendly, and the breakfast is simply delicious! Will definitely come back if I’m visiting Amsterdam again, and hopefully soon!

Stayed here 11 years ago with my mum and opted to stay here with hubby after our river cruise. The hotel has had a make over and looked wonderful. Our room had a lovely view over the canal. It was very comfortable and spacious. Bathroom had everything supplied. Nice hot water and good water pressure. The staff were lovely and helpful. What I really like about this hotel is that it is walking distance to museums, markets, shops, cafes, restaurants and the subway. We even walked from central station through the streets admiring the architecture. This took about 40 minutes but well worth it! Would happily stay again.

This hotel had modern, pleasing decor and pleasant staff. It is within walkable distance to art museums, cafes, and small shops. My room had a lovely view of a canal, but the balcony doors opened to windows that do not open. The elevators do not work properly and are frustrating. The lobby area is a welcoming spot to visit with friends.
