For clarification, there are two IBIS hotels next to each other. The Orange version, which is what we thought we had booked, and appears to be a more upscale alternative. Unfortunately we were booked into the Blue version, and it's not so great.
So there are two positives. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the rooms are cheap.
But beyond that, it's like one step up from a backpacker crash pad. The place stinks like stale sweat, and that's the odor that greets you as you walk to your room. The rooms themselves are extremely small... like less than a foot (or 30cm) of space you have to navigate between the end of the bed and a wall which is also where you'll find a shallow shelf at head level. A tiny built in shelf for a desk, and a plastic chair. Two small pillows and a comforter that's sized for a smaller mattress. To the other side you have a sink, and a shower that a grown adult can barely fit in... literally about 30 inches square (75cm). The toilet is in a separate closet that actually smaller than the toilets on aircraft. You have an AC/heating unit and a wall controller, but no means by which to actually activate the AC. All you can do is blow hot air. Thankfully, the window in the room can be opened, and by doing that I was able to get some cool air in the room.
Do I recommend the location? Only if you can't afford something better. It's an extremely low quality option, and probably in my 40+ years of traveling, It's in my top 5 worst hotel experiences.
