Staff and owner Erica were very kind. Our room was spacious with a nice shower. We had a double room because at the time of booking it was the same price. Bed was large and comfortable. It looks very much like the photos. We were in room #3 so we had to walk up which was fine for us. It’s a B&B so no elevator. There was a free parking lot across the street that we were fortunate enough to get into. The area is quiet and a quick walk to the town. The 3 chateau’s are in walking distance. We actually did all 3 in one day. We would stay here again!

Loved the hotel! It was tricky getting in due to not getting code but made a phone call and got everything figured out swiftly. Great location. Walking distance to old town and river walk.

Hidden gem, close to downtown

Our stay at Le Huis Clos was wonderful. Erika the hostess was so helpful and friendly. The location is wonderful. Walking distance to the castle and downtown. The room was very clean and comfortable. Very modern. Breakfast was wonderful. Buffet style, lots of choices. Would highly recommend and stay here again.

This is a great place to stay as a base to visit the castles in the Amboise area. The hotel has everything you need and there's plenty of free parking near it. Erika is a fantastic host and she gave us very useful tips. Overall, 100% recommended!

The most unique thing is Erica herself. Her warm smile every morning her eagerness to be of assistance without being ovver the top, I have not experieiced anything like it. The property itself is nice, very convenient to everything, safe, but it is the warmth you feel stying here that would attract us back again.

Stayed with 2 kids in a heat wave, Erica did everything she could to make our stay comfortable and we had an AC unit in the room which was wonderful. The kids were able to stay on a sofa bed with us as their separate room was too hot. Wonderful town walkable. Parked just outside. Huge comfy bed. Huge bathroom. Spotless. Would definitely stay again.

Nice spot

Lovely bed and breakfast in Amboise. Check in is late, at 5 PM. The accommodations, service, and breakfast meal were very nice.

Unacceptable Service and Lack of Accountability –

We booked this hotel on the same day of our stay and arrived within an hour of booking, well within the check-in time. Unfortunately, the gate was closed, and there were no staff or representatives present to assist us. Despite emailing the hotel, we only received a response at 1 AM the following day, which is completely unacceptable for a service of this caliber.

Erica, the hostess was wonderful. She made the stay pleasurable. The room was very small . Could have used a chair in the room. Also was unaware that there would not be anyone at the hotel at reception throughout the day and evening. Wish that would have been clearly published. Parking was a bit difficult but ok, understanding so much construction.TY Erica, you were great.

Friendly and close to everything

A very pretty and friendly property. The room was very comfortable and had a pretty patio out the back door. Erika was so welcoming and friendly. She made the stay very relaxed and the breakfast was delicious. The property is located close the the central town area so it was easy to walk to everything.

Lovely place in a quiet street in walking distance to the Chateau Royale Amboise, the Clos Luce, the farmers market by the river and the train station. Check in time is 5pm but we were able to store our luggage upon early arrival and after checkout. The room is clean and spacious with a private porch. The host was kind and helpful and prepared a lovely breakfast.
