Nice hotel right in the heart of Amalfi opposite the sea. Good spacious room, shame that the shower was above the bath tub, who needs a bath tub nowadays. Clean and tidy, breakfast was included and was pretty good with plenty of choices, including hot food. No wine glasses or coffee cups available in the room, only paper cups. I rang down for wine glasses and was told to get them from the restaurant myself or I would be charged for room service if they were delivered! Should expect better in a 4 star hotel and at what they charge (over 1,600 Euro for 4 nights in October. Overall a good hotel in a great location.

Loved the location of this hotel. Even though it was right across from the port, buses and Cathederal, you couldn’t hear anything inside. Perfect for jumping on a ferry to check out the coast. Very friendly staff, great breakfast on the terrace of a Michelin restaurant in the hotel, yet still free. Would definitely recommend

I traveled thru the Amalfi coast and Sicily for over 10 days and Hotel Residence was a favorite. Beautiful, good sized room, very clean. The location cannot be beat, you can walk to everything, but quiet at night. What really sets it apart is the staff, very approachable but professional. Antonio was very helpful with figuring out taxi and train arrangements. Highly recommend.

Overall my stay at Hotel Residence was good. Centrally located right in the middle of town. You have many options for transportation right outside your door. Beach access is right across the street. Hotel offers beach towels which is a plus. Breakfast was included and offered an assortment of pastries, coffee, and protein. Dinner is offered during set times. Only complaint was the AC thermostat was locked. The room was set at 72 F. Which made sleeping uncomfortable.

Your hotel is lovely, but the Italian attitude needs work and eventually it will catch up to your entire region. People from all over the world spend hundred of millions of dollars to be there, every person is special. Your entire economy relies on tourists. Just because you have thousands every day does not give you right to be non chalant with any one customer. That goes for all of your business leaders and community. As per the hotel, open your upper floor to residence to enjoy for the day. Close it a 4 and re open at 6 with much more reasonable prices and people will respond. Tell your community to be kinder and take a little more time with its customer's, it might make the difference for many generations to come. Thank you
