I recently stayed at Algarve Apartments and would rate my experience as 3 out of 10. The cleanliness of the apartment was below average, and the bed was quite rough. Surprisingly, there was only one pillow per bed. While the apartment had a kitchen, I was surprised to find that I had to bring my own dishwashing soap. Additionally, there was no soap provided for the laundry machine or any toiletries in the room.
On the positive side, the location was fantastic, with a quick 5-minute walk to Vilamoura. However, the check-in process was a hassle as they insisted on a non-existent voucher from hotels.com, making the process inconvenient and slow. What disappointed me further was that when I asked the reception for more toilet paper and a trash bin, I was told I had to buy them myself. Despite the reservation papers indicating a weekly room service, it never happened during our stay. Overall, while the location was convenient, the lack of amenities, cleanliness issues, check-in problems, and missing room service made my stay less enjoyable.
