This property is on the ocean so you can hear the waves from your balcony - which we loved. Views are phenomenal! Easy walk to everything Downtown. Parking is a bit of a nightmare and not right at the property. Overall we were glad to be there!

Really nice stay here. Can tell it was recently refurbished. Beautiful room looking out onto the beach. Lovely staff and a very convenient area with the strip just around the corner and the beach just behind. Would definitely stay here again. Only thing I would say is rooms are not that sound proof

The hotel itself is fantastic. The staff is second to none. However, Albufeira has become a party destination best suited for high school/college kids on holiday who just want to get drunk and go to clubs.

Only complaint is the room doors slam and it's extremely loud. With people coming and going regularly from their rooms, it causes sleep disruption. Otherwise, I can't say enough good things about the hotel. I travel continuously and I'd go back. And I don't do that very often. Highly recommend!!!

This is NOT a 4* hotel it is a travellodge ! Arrived at 8pm which is not late - buffet restaurant apparently closed we were given 2 ham rolls after pointing out we had paid for dinner for which we had paid the dinner price of £50 staff attitude take it or leave it ! NOT welcoming at all Bed was not made up Room had 2 coffee pod 2 tea bags 1 small bottle of water which we were told by the cleaner (who was the nicest member of staff we met) could not be replaced when used same with bathroom products and towels Bar was closed more than it was open Food provided was awful and not worth the money Room was adequate as a room only deal but not a hotel standard. Staff were not interested in guests at all everything was work it out for yourself Many guests were moaning but few are prepared to speak out Luckily plenty of good bars and restaurants in the town which is where most guests seemed to go Basically an overpriced travel lodge with miserable staff selling itself on being close to the town and beach Beach towels were available but needed 20 euro CASH deposit despite the fact that they had card details on file for the booking !! All of this has been pointed out to Expedia prior to leaving this review as I was hopeful of some resolution or support but as they told me there was nothing they could do the only way is a review Lesson learned don't trust the description or the photos Expedia have no idea what they are selling you

Our first impression was of Jose who checked us in fill us in on all the information we needed about the hotel and the surrounding area and from that moment on all the staff At the hotel were extremely nice and helpful made us feel very comfortable We loved staying at this hotel and don't think we would stay anywhere else when we come back to Abufeira
