Our stay at Residence Acqua Linda in Porticcio did not fully meet our expectations. We chose this place because of the positive reviews, but our experience was a bit different. Upon arrival, we were asked to pay a €100 deposit, which had not been mentioned in the listing. Additionally, when we requested an extra roll of toilet paper and two clean towels, we were informed that there would be a €5 charge. The apartment was clean, but the furniture and equipment appeared somewhat worn. The sofa was covered with a blanket, which gave the impression that it might have been hiding something underneath. The wooden cutting board in the kitchen was heavily worn, which did not seem very hygienic. The non-stick pan was scratched, which could raise safety concerns. The curtains looked like they hadn’t been washed for a long time, and the TV remote was sticky from dirt. The water in the shower was only lukewarm, the Wi-Fi connection was unstable, and the bed was not very comfortable, with pillows that had a stale smell. Compared to other places we stayed at in Corsica for a similar price, the standard seemed more modest.

Der ganze Komplex von Aqua Linda ist noch relativ neu und gut gepflegt. Unser klimatisiertes Apartment war sauber und gut ausgestattet. Im Hof gibt es ParkplĂ€tze und im ersten Stock einen Pool. Bis zum Strand sind es nur wenige Minuten. GeschĂ€fte und Restaurants sind ca. 20 Gehminuten entfernt. Wir wurden vor der Ankunft von einem Mitarbeiter kontaktiert, um die SchlĂŒssel zu erhalten und die Kaution zu ĂŒbergeben (ging nur in bar). Alles war perfekt: so soll es sein.

We werden ontvangen door zeer vriendelijke host Fabien. Heel ruim en zeer compleet appartement, heerlijk zwembad. Ongeveer half uur rijden vanaf Ajaccio wat daarmee heel goed aan te rijden is.
